Avoid this garage for any repairs!! They don't repair, they replace with new parts.
Following an accident with my Forza 125, which is only two and a half years old, some fairings on the right side need replacing. The exhaust has lost its protective grille, and one of the two brackets is bent.
They quoted an exorbitant price, including €1100 for an original exhaust, when all that's needed is to straighten the bracket and install the protective grille.
The result: €3500 in repairs, and no, that's not a joke!! The appraised value is €3000. Unfortunately, my scooter is now classified as a total loss (VEI)!!! Thank you, Honda Antibes, for refusing to listen to our requests to reduce the repair costs. Even the appraiser told me that the garage manager was sticking to his guns: "I replace everything with new original parts, that's how it is," he told him. I spoke with the manager, who was clearly running away from the problem because the VEI (Vehicle Economically Irreparable) procedure was making things too complicated for him.
What a joke! A professional mechanic, apparently just a parts "replacer."
For him, it was a write-off and a replacement used car. Well done, Mr. Planet thanks you...
I had to take my vehicle back and will have to get it repaired elsewhere. Fifteen days wasted, but it could have gone much longer without my intervention because they didn't want it! What a terrible image for Honda!
