So my chain was making a rattling noise and visited these guys to have it checked. Since it was Saturday afternoon there was a good chance I won't be able to continue my trip before Tuesday as shops are closed on Sundays and Mondays. Unfortunately they haven't had the 525 chain with them, but to my greatest surprise they were calling other shops (as my French is limited) but no shop in 50km radius had the chain. Fortunately they found a shop (concurrence) that had it and I was able to make it there in time.
Without these guys I'd be enjoying Vichy on foot instead of my motorcycle trip.

They'll never touch my bike again. I came in to change the chain kit, and it cost me more than expected. The price of the part was €145, and the installation was €72, for a total of €217, which I paid for €285.
They especially wanted to look at my rear brake and told me that the rear brake cylinder block absolutely had to be replaced because, according to them, it was dead after cleaning and a major bleed.
The cylinder cost around €300, excluding labor.
And they didn't want to let me drive away with it.
After speaking with a colleague, they told me to go to another motorcycle garage. They would take care of our bike as if it were their own. We took the time to look at the rear brake, and after changing the brake fluid and cleaning the cylinder block, the rear and front brakes worked perfectly.

I'm very disappointed. In July, I ordered a complete graphics kit (and I mean complete) for my son's 50cc motorcycle for his birthday. After being quoted a price including installation, I paid a deposit. I was given a 15-day turnaround, but I was made to wait until the end of December (5 months instead of 15 days, without any prior notice, of course). Apparently, there was a problem with the supplier.
After the graphics kit was installed, I was surprised when I picked up the motorcycle (again, without any prior warning) to have to pay an additional €40 on top of the original price (due to a change of supplier).
I received no compensation whatsoever for the 5-month wait. The only compensation I got was to pay more than the original price. As for the delay, I was told it was more like a Christmas present than a birthday present. To top it all off, the decal kit wasn't even complete; it didn't include the rim stickers (supposedly an optional extra... strange for a complete kit...). In short, an endless wait, a price increase, and an incomplete decal kit—first and last experience at this store.
