I had come here several times, for my gear and to inquire about a motorcycle. However, when I bought a jacket elsewhere (because I couldn't find one that fit here), and returned to buy gloves, the saleswoman, annoyed, sharply criticized me for daring to "go to the competition"... A rather surprising reaction in a store where, as a matter of principle, the customer is free to make their own purchases.
After a test ride with a €1,000 deposit, no damage, and a quote, everything was clear. But when I mentioned that I had found a better used deal elsewhere, Vincent, the salesman, took it very badly: he clearly told me that he wouldn't "waste his time" with me again. Apparently, saving €2,000 on a motorcycle is an affront here.
Surprisingly, my deposit was not returned. Despite several calls, I received vague excuses and was told that the refund would take a maximum of one month (the legal deadline, yes...). It took a relative contacting the manager (Vincent was on vacation) for the refund to suddenly be effective and instantaneous with one click. We can at least thank the only professional person we encountered at this dealership for resolving the problem in two seconds (too bad she couldn't compensate for her team's behavior...). It's hard to believe it was a simple "technical issue"! The deposit had been withheld simply out of spite from the salesperson, which is completely unacceptable and contrary to all professional practice.
Let it be said: a customer who compares prices is not an enemy. Withholding €1,000 out of annoyance is serious, unjustified, and absolutely out of line.
I'd never set foot in the dealership again. Lucky for me! The salesperson agrees with me on that!
