I ordered from the Maxxess website in December, and they shipped it.
I received the package on December 13th and made the mistake of not opening it because it was a Christmas gift. To my surprise, on December 25th, the helmet was damaged (scratches, damaged front). I sent photos as proof directly to Maxxess.
Between December 26th and 30th, I contacted the customer service platform, which offered me an exchange or a partial refund. I even suggested buying something else and adding to the total to make it a decent gift.
On January 7th, I finally learned that I wouldn't be getting anything. No partial refund, no exchange.
So, yes, I made a mistake by not opening the package, but I acted in good faith. However, this store isn't reliable because you don't have photos of the shipment on the day it was sent.
With that said, good luck.

The salesperson at the Maxxess store is very friendly and offers good advice, although they seem a bit more motivated by clearing their stock than understanding the customer's actual needs.
However, be warned: don't even think about asking them for anything regarding a return, a credit note, or anything else. It will be an ordeal, and they'll start negotiating to make sure they don't have to do you any favors... Such an unpleasant experience... In the end, I'm stuck with an item I don't really need and that I paid 15% more for than online (not to mention the gas for the round trip to the store)...
This store is the reason why brick-and-mortar stores have lost so much market share to online retailers... A site like Motoblouz is so much more user-friendly, welcoming, accommodating, and professional (not to mention the quality of their customer service) that I prefer to remain loyal to my beloved internet.

I've already had repairs done at their workshop and they did a fantastic job; they returned my vehicle in perfect condition.
