The tow truck driver arrived after I called my car insurance company. The tow truck driver was incredibly responsive. I've used the same driver twice for different jobs in different years, and he's always been very pleasant and helpful. If you need roadside assistance, contact Garage Pichon; they're the best.

A huge thank you from the bottom of my heart to Antonio. I found myself stranded on the side of the A25 motorway with my 10-year-old son around 8 p.m. this Friday, September 5th, following a flat tire. I was in a panic because we were exiting a bend, and there was a lot of traffic and speed at that time. Antonio arrived quickly, took care of us and secured us very quickly, then we exited the motorway to change the tire. Antonio showed great compassion for our situation (the recent death of my son's mother), took the time to chat a little to calm me down and reassure me with a humanity that is rare, and then helped me with the insurance coverage because I was completely lost with the stress. In addition to meeting a very professional and efficient breakdown service driver, I also met a beautiful soul that evening, and I will remember it for a very long time. I encountered a dispute with a breakdown service/garage after they took my vehicle in. No storage fees were provided to me, either verbally or in writing, at the time the vehicle was taken in. No prior information was given to the customer regarding the applicable fees, in violation of the legal obligation to provide information and price transparency. I was then presented with a repair estimate for a clearly excessive amount, in addition to the €42 per day storage fee that was never disclosed. The very least they could do is inform the customer. This demonstrates a complete lack of business acumen and raises serious doubts about the fairness of their practices. These facts may constitute a misleading business practice, as defined by Articles L.121-2 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, particularly due to the lack of information on mandatory fees (storage, services) and the potentially abusive nature of the amounts charged. Following this experience with Pichon Garage, the customer feels financially and emotionally wronged, with the feeling of having been misled and unjustifiably charged. Furthermore, the professional's behavior was inappropriate and insulting towards the customer, which violates basic business practices. Perhaps the gentleman would have been better off pursuing the police career he mentions in the press, rather than taking over the family garage, clearly without any regard for customer relations. This practice borders on deceptive business practices, which are punishable by law. After contacting several scrap yards and garages, it appears that this establishment has a well-known reputation within the industry in the Lille metropolitan area. I should have done my research beforehand. I strongly advise against using their services.
