A beautiful hike through the woods of St Cyr sur Morin, passing through small hamlets like Biercy, the Mare de la Mairesse (Mayor's Pond), and a mill powered by the Petit Morin river at the entrance to Jouarre that supplied several businesses, including the Bank of France, Vuarnet eyewear, and glass manufacturers. On the return, a path with a stream leads to the Maison aux Visages (House of Faces) in a multicolored countryside setting.

Living in the hamlet of Montapeine, I can tell you that nothing has been done for us; we've been completely abandoned.
The road is dangerous, there's no sidewalk, the shoulder of the Saacy road is completely deformed, and there are potholes everywhere.
And to top it all off, a serious accident occurred Saturday night, but no elected official came to check on the family, see if they were alright, if they needed anything, or anything else. We keep coming back to this dangerous Saacy road because of the excessive speed of 90 km/h in the residential area. It's a disgrace.
