I am one of the many victims of the hidden defect affecting the Citroën PureTech engine... Following a reassuring diagnosis from the Citroën dealer in my town—which turned out to be completely wrong—I decided to contact the dealership that sold me my new C4 five years ago. Unfortunately, I received no response to a long written message asking what I should do, and I couldn't reach the garage's technical manager by phone either. It was finally the mechanic near my office who immediately diagnosed the problem and took charge of repairing my vehicle. Since then, it's been a never-ending battle with Citroën management to try and get reimbursed for the cost of replacing this infamous timing belt, which could have not only destroyed my engine but also caused a serious accident.
I used to like Citroën, and I now regret having to leave the brand in favor of Asian reliability...

I spent 15 minutes in the showroom, sitting in three different vehicles, opening doors and trunks. Not a greeting, not a glance. No welcome whatsoever. I'll go elsewhere to renew my lease.

Avoid especially for certain people. They changed my door locks and even started 1100 euros and it's still stuck, it did it a year ago 😡

Purchase of a new vehicle 🚗, maintenance delayed delivery but excellent support and follow-up. Listening availability waiting support and welcome I recommend and the seller Julien as well as these very professional collaborators. Thank you 🙏
